Blah, blah, blah

I love this because it supports the idea that on screen friends really are off screen friends and DO live with each other and hang out all the time. Even if one of them is married and has a kid. Awesome. And congrats Jay. If only David Spade and Chris Farley lived together, maybe Chris would be still with us. (Link from Whatevs.)

No no no no no no no. Mark McGrath to be in a reality show. Someone tell Mark it isn’t 1999 anymore and to begin his second career so VH1 can come calling in a few years to reunite his band. If you don’t go away, people will never become nostalgic for you.

Mad cow outbreak in the Garden State: side effects include the impulse to wear Lee Press on Nails, go the mall, eat at 24-hour diners, go to “the shore” for the weekend, hold a sense of pride of being from the same state as Springsteen and Bon Jovi, drive a mustang and call a Six Flags theme park “Great Adventure.”

Jeff Tweedy is in rehab for painkillers. In related news, Wilco fans who couldn’t wait to hear tracks from the new album are actually willing to pay for it. A site for fans to donate money if they downloaded the album was put up and after the first day of operation it tallied more than $1,500 donations and currently is at $3,600. Doesn’t that just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?
